About Marie
As an artist with over 10 years of professional design experience, I’ve dedicated my life to the pursuit of creativity. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University in 2013, specializing in Communication Design, and have remained passionate and committed to the field ever since.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked as a freelancer, agency designer, and in-house creative, gaining valuable experience across a wide range of projects. These diverse roles have strengthened my ability to manage creative work from concept to completion while meeting the goals of clients, companies, and stakeholders. In many of these roles, I’ve integrated design system thinking to ensure visual consistency, streamline collaboration, and support scalable creative solutions across teams and platforms.
My skill set spans brand strategy & development, art direction, print and package design, spatial/interior design, and UI/UX and web design. To further expand my digital expertise, I completed a UI/UX Specialization with CalArts, earning two certifications in the process.
One of the things I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to travel and design within diverse environments. I’ve had the privilege of working on projects around the world—including in China, Europe, Japan, New York, Las Vegas, and along the East Coast.
